About the Book:
A Gift for the Princess, published by Green Ivy Publishing, is a fable with a twist.

A young princess, strong and spirited, wants nothing to do with the men seeking her hand, who are either noble layabouts, crude brawlers, or foreign princes only seeking her hand as a casualty-free way of seizing her rich kingdom. She rides superbly, is handy with a bow, and is confident that she can keep the kingdom intact on her own. Her father, however, is not convinced.

As the birthday celebration approaches, he rides to the retreat of an old companion from the mountain people, a wise but crusty old man who has been an indispensable warrior and counselor since the king's grandfather founded the kingdom. The king visits a special pool, a place of calm and comfort that has always fostered wisdom and clarity in times of stress. While there, the solution to the king's problem arrives most unexpectedly. It is a gift for the princess, but is it also much more than that?
