Everyone has a good side and bad side to their personalities. And it is one's own decision whether to follow the good or the bad. Some people cultivate the good and spread it all around them, while others choose to follow the bad side and surround themselves in an atmosphere of hate and discord. In "The Sin of Angels" (published by AuthorHouse) author Jody Riddle has created an engrossing family saga that highlights this concept.

"The Sin of Angels" is a captivating novel set around 1850-1863.This takes place in the Pre-Civil War era in the Southern states of Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee. It is a romantic novel, involving Slaves and Professional kinsman and their daily lives on Plantations plus their difficulties trying to get along and move forward to establish their own Society. Its main focus is on the Marquand family who due to their lying and cheating ways has made enemies all over their town. It is a truly enthralling story that shows how each person is so unique on their own and how they each take on their own battles with one another. The author uses her grandfather's old manuscripts as a foundation for this story.

This brilliantly written story of an affluent plantation family who struggle with the consequences of their actions, set in a Southern Pre-civil war era. It is undoubtedly a true family saga at its best.
