Sally A. Allen's novel is bound for the 2015 Illinois Library Association book fair that will take place from the 22nd to the 24th of October. The exhibited book follows two unlikely lovers far from home who get the rare chance to live happily "Ever After" (published by Xlibris) when they meet in the tropical islands of the Philippines.

Taylor Townshend owned a large publishing company for new authors headquartered in the Philippines. The conglomerate also has subsidiaries in the United States, with the main office in Minneapolis. Taylor speaks often with Sara, his U.S. liaison and book critic for new authors, and they become very fond of each other by long distance. Unknown to him, she has a disability, and as it turns out, so does he. As the two publishing professionals struggle with their hectic careers and inner demons, their transpacific romance builds until she meets him in the Philippines. This fateful opportunity changes their lives forever, resulting in an engaging drama following the couple and their developing relationship, all while giving readers glimpses of the publishing industry's inner workings

Allen blends fact and fiction, her depiction of the publishing industry serving as a backdrop for the romance between two realistically portrayed protagonists, whose strengths and foibles give them the spark of humanity and emotion whilst the narrative portrays their struggle to live happily "Ever After."
