Ronn Medow, a family man, sport enthusiast, history buff, and writer, has completed his first book "The Walmart Cashier": a comical and educational biography into the daily work of a cashier working at Walmart.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Ronn Medow's poignant tale is a biography on the author's experiences while working at Walmart and his ideas on how the store could improve.

"The Walmart Cashier" is really "Off the Wal." It includes three chapters of Walmart stories. "The stories are all true - like this one: I was approached by a woman who saw my name tag. 'Sir, can you tell me where the nuts are?' 'Ma'am,' I said, 'this is Walmart. The nuts are everywhere.'" says author Ronn Medow.

The book is a quick and easy read featuring a variety of surprising topics, including detailed information about celebrities and their birth names, (Anna Mae Bullock and Caryn Elaine Johnson are Tina Turner and Whoopi Goldberg,) and a dozen "unusual" trivia questions. One online review calls "The Walmart Cashier" a "terrific book, perfect for anyone who loves/hates Walmart." Ronn Medow is a part-time cashier at a Walmart store in Reno, NV. His time at work is an odd combination of amusement and frustration. Many times Ronn has muttered to himself or to no one in particular, "If you can't be excellent, at least be competent." Ronn has also asked himself why management would ever want to listen to him. "What do I know? I just talk to and listen to the customers!"

Readers who wish to experience this entertaining work can purchase "The Walmart Cashier" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
