Patrizia Palenzona Releases ONCE UPON A TIME

Children are often captivated by the magic and fantasy told through fairy tales. These tales evoke creativity and teach children virtues and life lessons. Recognizing the value these stories provide, author Patrizia Palenzona has written a collection of fairy tales to be enjoyed by both children and adults.

In her new book, "Once Upon a Time," Palenzona provides a compilation of spiritual fairy tales intended to entertain as well as prompt readers to look at their own lives with a profound understanding. Palenzona's tales guide readers to search within themselves and discover insights to help them in day-to-day life. Each tale is simple in plot and structure, but imparts a deeper message of love, morality and purity.

Author Patrizia Palenzona was diagnosed with cancer in her late thirties and at age 44 was given just six months to live. Despite her diagnosis Palenzona became stronger and embodied an example of how to accept events that render one's life difficult. Throughout her life, Palenzona gained deep spiritual understanding as she followed under a spiritual mentor since age 15. Palenzona passed away peacefully in the summer of 2014.

"Although the stories are fictitious, the underlying message of each tale is born out of Patrizia's experiences, thoughts and feelings throughout her life," said Patrizia's brother, Romano Palenzona. "Under the semblance of simple fairy tales lie the universal truisms and spiritual guidance Patrizia wished to convey, in an easy to read and accessible book."

In a society filled with material and superficial distractions, "Once Upon A Time" provides readers with some welcomed respite and the chance to discover how spiritual awakening can be found in the simplest of gestures.

About the author
Author Patrizia Palenzona is of European descent but raised in South America. From a young age Palenzona experienced a yearning to explore the internal vastness and beauty of the human experience, which propelled her on a life long path of spirituality. During her last years, Patrizia worked on a volunteer basis with spiritual healer and master Cristovao Brilho. Patrizia passed away peacefully in the summer of 2014.
