Next Century Publishing Acquires Rights to Steve Alten's Vostok

Next Century Publishing, a company that has traditionally catered to self-publishing authors, has acquired the rights to the latest Steve Alten novel, Vostok. This acquisition marks the first title of Alten's published by NCP, who aggressively pursued the project for its premier into the field of publishing established authors.

Vostok is a science fiction thriller that crosses over into Alten's two more popular book series, MEG and LOCH. Both of these series have been optioned for motion picture production. As the sequel to LOCH and a prequel to MEG: NIGHT STALKERS, Vostok is a seat-of-the-pants suspense thriller that promises to sweep readers into a story that spans 15 million years.

Next Century Publishing acquired the rights to publish Vostok after negotiating with Steve Alten to represent both the book and the author's brand.
