After completing her master's degree and doctorate in the area of women's mental health, author Maryam Saligheh realized the high prevalence of prenatal and postnatal depression in which one in seven women experiences depression during the episodes of their pregnancy and motherhood. This realization led her in writing "The Power of Divine Love during Pregnancy: The Journey of Two Souls" (published by Balboa Press AU).

This book offers insight on pregnancy and the motherhood journey designed to enrich women's body, mind, soul and most importantly their mother-baby interaction. Saligheh provides practical advice on deeply enjoying the period of pregnancy and new motherhood and information intended to help women achieve a better state of mind and a richer life journey. Based on years of research into the health and well-being of expectant mothers, this guide seeks to help pregnant women understand how beautiful they are and that the birth of love within them is the new beginning, regardless of their circumstances.

"Considering the social isolation and levels of stress in today's society, this book depicts the peaceful journey of our soul," Saligheh explains. "Society today is all about motivation while this book encourages inspiration. In today's society, depression is reported as the second most common killer. This book is a self-help tool to bring hope and positive expectation back to women's life."

"The Power of Divine Love during Pregnancy" hopes to make readers realize that by knowing their spiritual truth and the power of love and light within them, they can prevent prenatal and postnatal depression and anxiety.
