CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill.

Licensed counselor, teacher and mediator Linda Gullo has recently released "Erasing Adversity" (published by Xlibris). Based on a true story, this new book follows a family's relentless journey to find peace and healing after a life-changing tragedy.

Gullo herself knows how challenging it can be to deal with life-changing obstacles. In "Erasing Adversity," she shares how she and her own family struggled with a number of traumatic experiences - her husband's devastating accident, health problems, to name a few. More importantly, this account reveals how she and her family were able to overcome adversity and learn to appreciate its importance for building character. She hopes that her story will give others hope and inspire them to move forward no matter what.

"My book gives us hope and helps with healing; it assists us in recognizing when things go terribly wrong that there are options and opportunities," the author says. "Let the situation you have at hand commission you to think and move forward."

Told with honesty and grace, "Erasing Adversity" is a triumphant testament of the human spirit, the gift of family and the miraculous power of faith. It is inspiring, powerful and, most of all, it is true.
