From stage to page, Brigadoon is enchanting a brand new audience in the form of young adult fiction to be released September 2. Destined for Doon, the second book in the popular new Doon series continues to spin the classic musical in an imaginative way to give readers a fresh, modern experience.

In this sequel to Doon, by authors Carey Corp and Lorie Langdon, Kenna Reid realizes she made a horrible mistake-choosing to follow her dreams of Broadway instead of staying in the enchanted land of Doon. Worse, she's received proof she and Duncan are meant to be, along with torturous visions of the prince she left behind. So when Duncan shows up and informs Kenna that Doon needs her, she doesn't need to think twice. But even if Kenna can save the enchanted kingdom, her happily-ever-after may still be in peril.

The Doon series holds a magic that is perfect for musical theater fans, as well as readers of young adult fiction of all ages. Hailed by readers as "better than Twilight" and comparable to C.S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia, Doon has been featured by Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, BroadwayWorld.com, and at the Book Expo America. Readers can go beyond the book and explore the world of Doon at www.doonseries.com. Destined for Doon is available on September 2, 2014 from BLINK/HarperCollins. Concept used with permission from the Alan Jay Lerner Estate & the Frederick Loewe Foundation.

CAREY CORP and LORIE LANGDON came up with the idea for DOON, their debut novel, one fateful winter morning while discussing their love of musicals. Lorie had known since seeing Brigadoon, at age sixteen, that she wanted more of the sleepy kingdom than the original story revealed, while Carey adored the idea of reinventing a mythical world through the eyes of two, vastly different, but inseparable friends-much like themselves. As ideas flew back and forth, suddenly the village that slept for 100 years at a stretch awoke to epic life; and Doon was born.
