Sharing a tale of strength and unshakeable faith in God, "Her Unfailing Faith...God's Unfailing Love: The Miraculous Journey of Kay Loy Avers Smith" (published by WestBow Press), is author Kim Smith Davis' tribute to her mother's life story.

As a young college student, Davis' mother, Kay Loy Avers Smith, was injured in a car accident by a drunk driver. Smith's life was forever changed when she was told at age 19 that she would never walk again.

She was paralyzed from the waist down and would later endure multiple back surgeries, a bout with rheumatoid arthritis, pulmonary embolism and Crohn's disease.

Smith decided to strengthen her faith in God instead of letting despair and anger cloud her mind.

Inspired by her mother's story, Smith Davis decided to share it.

"Her Unfailing Faith...God's Unfailing Love" chronicles the physical, spiritual and emotional battles and victories the author's mother endured while clinging to the passage 2 Corinthians 4:16, that reads: "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day."
