CARSON CITY, Nev.

Containing poems written in Spanish and English, as well as one in Portuguese, the new anthology by poet and author Glade A. Myler, "Through the Eye of the Needle: A Book of Poetry" (published by Trafford Publishing), shows the overarching nature of life's happenings.

"Each poem depicts some aspect of life that I have experienced," Myler says. "No one can sit in an ivory tower and understand life fully without having experienced it from being a child to the teen years to maturity, marriage, having a family, the relationship with other people and watching them cope with their lives, and lastly working hard in order to garner wisdom and insight into life."

Myler is a student of the world; he speaks four languages and writes his poetry to appeal to a variety of readers, as opposed to a select audience. The poetry within "Through the Eye of the Needle" further emphasizes his appreciation for the world with themes of love, music, art, sports, self-discovery and human emotion.
