NEW YORK

Author George M. Goritz's debut autobiography, "Shakespeare, Wall Street and My Arabian Nights Adventures: The Fool in King Lear" (published by AuthorHouse), may be of great interest to those contemplating career changes and facing obstacles on the road to success, the author says.

Goritz's unique personality and perseverance are made evident as he describes the twists and turns his life took. Readers will get an inside look into the three distinct arenas of his life: The New York and London Theater, Wall Street and his time spent with wealthy Arabians.

In his study as an actor, Goritz meets famed actor Peter O'Toole at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. It is here that Goritz masters the Shakespearean style of acting, which enables him to participate in many classical plays, including those at the Shakespearean Festival in Stratford, Ontario.

Goritz says his book shows the value of education in achievement, citing his acting education as a huge part of his success. He cites his ability to understand human nature, speak confidently and find humor in situations as highly advantageous to his career in high finance. His career would lead to his establishment of powerful Middle Eastern business and social connections.

An excerpt from "Shakespeare, Wall Street and My Arabian Nights Adventures":

"The actor does not create but reacts to the playwright's moments. The dancer glides on a stage to the choreographer's movements. The musician and singer each performs to the composer's lead while painter and writer serve those who come to see or read."
