FROGGIE'S BEST FRIEND is Released

"Froggie's Best Friend" (published by LifeRich Publishing) is a children's story about friendship and the patience it sometimes takes to find a best friend. Through pictures and rhymes, author Jane Goedken hopes readers will encounter many of Froggie's friends and see who Froggie's unexpected best friend will be.

"Reading has always been a big part of my life, and with reading comes learning and the possibility of letting your imagination take you anywhere," Goedken says. "Ever since high school and college, where I took writing classes and was involved with various publications, it has been a dream of mine to be a published author. Even as we grow older, we need to remain young at heart and my hope is that by sharing my stories, I can let my readers hold on to some of life's fun and joys."

Goedken believes "Froggie's Best Friend" will resonate with readers because friendships are an important part of life and can have a big influence on individual lives. "Froggie shows us that we can have lots of friends, a best friend can come along when we least expect it, and our differences can make that friendship exceptional."

Jane Goedken lives in Iowa with her husband, who is her best friend. Their two grown sons and daughter-in-law are a big part of their lives. In addition to working as an auditor, Goedken enjoys creative writing, doing crafts, taking photographs, traveling and hiking.
