CASA GRANDE, Ariz. - In his new book, "Twenty-Six Minutes Plus Two" (published by Xlibris), author Eugene W. Carr asks the question: "If you could relive an event and change one small thing that may cause the end result to be different, would you do it? Would you do it a second time?" This collection of stories takes readers through this phenomenon, allowing them to relive the event. As each story builds on the previous, it reveals how people do not always have control in what they do in their day-to-day lives. This compelling three-story book will echo within readers as it illuminates the gravity of every decision they make.

In this compilation, readers are brought into a rush of action and adrenalin as they witness the world through the eyes of Kim. They will experience the same 26 minutes that it takes to land the airplane in Kim's situation. The second story takes them into Jim's tragic life history and they will find it hard not to live through his fragile grasp of life - and the one small oversight that pushes everything over a cliff. The third story delves deeper into the pasts of Jim and Emily, and the small change that avoids the cliff that occurs in the second story. A change in Jim surfaces as a result of the successful ending of the emergency, causing there to be a possibility of a renewal of past romance.

"Twenty-Six Minutes Plus Two" strives to get readers to realize that in life, every little thing, person and action is important to both individuals and the world around them. It magnifies how it is not only huge, momentous things that make a difference but it is also the everyday little matters that help greatly mold today's tomorrow.
