"Maybe I'll Be Cleverer Tomorrow: A Reflection on a Complex and Often Prickly Father/Daughter Relationship" (published by Balboa Press AU) is author Pamela Bradley's personal memoir of the long and sometimes fraught relationship with her father and what she discovered about both him and herself as they negotiated the last decade of his life.

While Bradley tries to see their relationship and his legacy through different lenses, she is confronted with the emotional experiences and decisions associated with a loved one's gradual decline and inevitable death.

"The concept of this book is the emotional - sometimes agonizing - journey we all take as adult children treading the final days of a parent's life, and how we find ourselves examining our past, seeking answers, wondering how we become who we are, how much of our parents' beliefs we take on, and how much of what we appear to be is our pure authentic self," says fellow author Alison Whitelock. "Bradley's story is all our stories."
