Courageous new author, Donna Cameron Jones, risks everything to tell her story of how the Mafia purportedly had her locked up in a mental institution because she had evidence of their corruption.

A short summary follows:

Diane Bennett was a self-employed bookkeeper until she took a contract to find assets that could be seized to collect on a one-half million dollar judgment for a man whom she met at random. Her life takes a dramatic turn for the worse after she finds out, through her investigation, that the woman who had conned the man out of his money was using fictitious names on deed records. After being stalked by this woman, Diane goes to a lawyer/friend she'd known for years whom she believed was connected to the Mafia. After telling him about her discoveries the lawyer/friend/Mafia man puts out a "hit" on her because he was using fictitious names on his deed records as well (apparently to launder illegally gained money).

After the Mafia initiated a "hit" attempt using city police officers, she ends up shooting and injuring two people and is charged with attempted murder. After spending two years and eight months in jail, she takes an insanity plea and ends up in a mental institution even though she is not mentally ill.

The book is now being sold in hardback for $32.95 at http://amzn.com/B008TXA26M.
