With ample background on the workings of a human mind, psychiatrist and author Ixidorr Hack pens an unnerving yet convincing anthology of tales that will entertain readers at the same time push the limits of the horror genre.

Readers who are brave enough are invited to take a walk down "Damnation Alley" and enter a new dimension of horror, as Hack presents tales where nobody is safe, horror has no limits, madness no cure, and Hell blazes close on the heels. As readers trudge on the street filled with extreme fear, they will be met by these stories that will test their boldness and the stability of their minds.

"A London policeman stationed in the Welsh Territories suffers the most terrifying ordeal of his life, indescribably so... A playwright discovers that, after killing his unfaithful wife, she just won't leave him alone... Moving into their dream cottage, a couple develops an increasingly unhealthy obsession with their neighbours... A seemingly ordinary house in the suburbs hides a garden that is to die for...A late-night cable station specializes in extreme torture and a brand of vigilante justice born of nightmares..."

Presenting a kind of work that is not one's typical collection of pulp horror stories, Hack hopes that his eccentric and psychologically minded delivery of stories will thrill readers and push horror to its extremes. With tales nearly always starting off very low-key, gradually building up to strangeness, and to the point where they finally go off the rails until the climax, "Damnation Alley" is like a beast that has its firm grip on the readers' necks urging them to read until the very explosive end.

About the Author
Ixidorr Hack works as a psychiatrist and spends his spare time writing science fiction and horror. He believes that as a doctor, he is supposed to 'calm things down' as opposed to being a writer when he 'stirs things up' creating the perfect equilibrium in life. It is also in his philosophy that it is good to let a person's Mr. Hyde out once in a while.
