Author C.A.D. would like to write something that could uplift the hearts and minds of those who will read it. It prompted her in writing her poetry book titled "The Testimony Of A Lost Soul" (published by AuthorHouse).

When she was 8 years old, C.A.D.'s parents had a divorce. Because of this, writing and drawing became her outlet. She also suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, severe depression and severe anxiety, but all of these helped her in writing her poems, most of which are reflected in her book. This book shares a collection of poems based on her life experience and how she dealt with them.

An excerpt from the poem "Human Traits" reads:
Even if you just have a little bit,
Water it with faith, and it will grow.
Live as Christ would have you live,
And all your blessings shall be shown...

Through her poetry in "The Testimony Of A Lost Soul," C.A.D. hopes to give readers a sense of hope and an open mind in their trying times.
