SURREY, England

Written by Andrew Holt McMinn, "Inflagrante and Delicta - The Common Period" (published by Xlibris UK) tells the story of a crazy world where people('homos') bear a basket of physical, emotional and psychological quirks and dysfunctions.

This highly engrossing read, told through the eyes of two anthropomorphic dogs, follows the adventures of a gorgeous red-clawed hunk and inbred, a sex-and-love-addicted transgender chauffeuse, a demented, stalking social-worker, a troubled politician and a lascivious charity worker. And that's just for starters. The story is based in a South London house owned by two gay men ('homo-homos'), home to some of this motley crew. The two homo-homos seek to create a place where transformation and wholeness can be achieved for each member of the household in spite of their quirky singularities.

Honest and probing questions are raised about the people in the house and about how they and their bodies function. In the process the honest answers gives a clue to the wonderful complexity of life.

By turns whimsical, earthy, rambunctious, endearing, shocking, farcical and tragic, Holt McMinn's diverse band of characters share some very fundamental life lessons.
