Melissa Gardner and Andy Ladd are childhood friends. Both born into wealthy New York families, they begin writing to each other with tentative holiday postcards, birthday invitations and thank you letters.

As life moves on they stay in touch through a series of letters. Through fifty years of laughter, pain, unions and estrangements, the bond between Andy and Melissa remains unbreakable.

A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Love Letters has enveloped audiences with its unique format and its story of an enduring bittersweet affair starring Huw Higginson (The Bill) and Hannah Waterman.
