Brisbane's renowned Southern Cross Soloists will conclude their 2016 concert season at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) with their Heavenly Voice performance on Sunday 27 November in QPAC's Concert Hall.

For the first time, Southern Cross Soloists welcomes ARIA Award winning Australian singer Sara Macliver as their special guest star for a sparkling concert of master works for the soprano voice.

Heavenly Voice will feature a diverse program from Monteverdi and Mozart to Joni Mitchell, with Macliver also delighting with a performance from her highly acclaimed ABC Classics recording of Canteloube's Songs of the Auvergne.

Hailed by Limelight Magazine as, "Australia's most angelic voiced soprano", Macliver's famously versatile vocals promise a divine experience.

A company in residence at QPAC, Southern Cross Soloists have earned a well-deserved reputation for artistic excellence. With musicians hailing from across Australia, the Soloists are a truly national ensemble of outstanding artists who come together to create something special and very much 'in the moment' each time they perform.

A flagship small arts company, both nationally and internationally, Southern Cross Soloists have cultivated an Australian musical identity through their innovative performances and collaborations with virtuoso musicians from around the world.
