Film and stage actor Zachary Quinto, who recently starred as Tom Wingfield in the highly acclaimed Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, will be part of the festivities at this year's Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival's Annual Dinner.

This production, which also starred Cherry Jones, has been nominated for several awards this season and Quinto has been nominated for the Distinguished Performance Award by the Drama League.

Executive Director Jef Hall-Flavin says "We're really thrilled to have Zachary Quinto as our special guest after his recent success in The Glass Menagerie. He is an outstanding actor who breathed new life into Tom Wingfield, one of Williams' most personal and poignant characters." Hall-Flavin confesses, "I'm also a secret fan of Zachary in 'Heroes', as I imagine are many of our guests. I know everyone will enjoy a chance to mingle with him before dinner."

At the dinner, Quinto will also appear on stage at Town Hall in a candid conversation with Festival Curator David Kaplan.

The dinner is also the special occasion for the announcement of the program of shows for the Festival's 9th Season. "Our announcement is always eagerly anticipated," says Hall-Flavin, "because we surprise our audience with the range of styles and forms and venues that develop our theme each year."
"This year's theme is "Tennessee Williams' Circle of Friends," says David Kaplan who will announce the line-up of productions. "Williams orbited the world among a constellation of friends, mainstream celebrities in the l950s and '60s at the height of their artistic powers. Each of them led a secret life. This year's program invites our audiences to join that circle of friends."
