Maybe all those face tucks have gotten to her. She has gotten really mean spirited

One of her latest is that Liza needs a real man - Rosie O Donnell

well, she DOES pee out of her nose now.. and having that body organ on the face would explain a LOT about her looks....

besides, Liza needed a real man?? Rosie?? If Liza needs a real man, she would go for Bea Arthur!

At the Emmys, She asked Shelly Morrison:

"Well, now that you had a mastectomy, what's holding your dress up?"

My mouth dropped open on that one!

Crass beyond words!

She's an old biddy who needs a taste of her own medicine once in a while... or on a constant basis.

Being mean is not attractive on any one.

I had always enjoyed watching Joan Rivers and her red carpet shows, but that Mastectomy line was just going way too far. Someone should roast that woman and give everyone in Hollywood a chance to get back at her!

Joan Rivers, the Broadway star of Fun City, Broadway Bound, and Sally Marr and Her Escorts has "gotten" mean spirited? That woman has been mean spirited for decades. At first her humor was about putting herself down and she went further in the standup world than most women, although she was not, by far, the only woman to do so even though she portrays herself that way.

Then, somewhere around the late-’70s she turned her poisoned point of view outwards and her petty biliousness hit paydirt for her. Let’s not forget, her Elizabeth Taylor jokes were circa 1980. And that was when she realized that mean spiritedness would sell, sell, sell. At least for a little while.

If ever I doubt the existence of karma and the notion that what goes around comes around, all I have to do is look at the miserable existence that woman has. She is a hack commentator on a parasitic cable station that just exists to comment on other events and programming. Her husband, as any sensible person would if married to her, killed himself. (And don’t jump on me for that, it’s true. Oh! Can we talk? It was JUST….) She is vicious, and uncaring, and like so many people who are those things, she is ridiculously over-sensitive.

Have you seen her on TV crying because Johnny Carson wouldn’t include her in his celebrations when he gave up The Tonight Show or more recently when he wouldn’t grant the rights to her of her work on the show? Oh, boo hoo hoo, poor Joan.

Whenever interviewers ask her about how cruel she can be she puts herself down (as if that mitigates it) and then trots out the same old story about Willie Nelson’s daughter calling her in tears because of the mean jokes she made about Willie (I believe it was that Mr. Nelson wears a Shell No Pest Strip on a chain around his neck), “And you know what I did?” she always asks nobly, “The joke was out of my act the next day.” Wow! Isn’t she kind?

I read an interview with Joan before she and The Daughter were doing another red carpet show and the interviewer pointed out that Dennis Miller had said that Joan Rivers criticizing Lauren Bacall’s sense of style is like listening to Carrot Top put down Lenny Bruce. And you know what Joan said? “I’m not even going to respond to that, Dennis is coming from a negative place, and I refuse to do that.” Hello? How much self-awareness can one person lack? That woman deserves every bad thing that happens to her, and that’s something I never feel about anybody.

For extra laffs, be sure to tune in if you ever see a listing for Joan and Melissa portraying themselves in “The Joan and Melissa Rivers Story,” a TV movie about how hard it was for them when Edgar killed himself. Edgar, wherever you are, we all understand why you did it.
