What's his deal? Was he always like this?

Sad to see.

I don't know if he was always like this, but you're right; it is sad to see. His father must be turning over in his grave.

"His father must be turning over in his grave."

Actually, his father might be very proud of his son challenging incumbent POTUS for the Democratic nomination just like he did in 1968.

I agree with fosterfan. I wonder what Ethel thinks.

Also sad to see the likes of Woody Harrelson fundraise for him.

Ethel Kennedy is 95 years old and lord only knows how sharp she is mentally. It is mind boggling to me that you and "Fosterfan" think that parents can't handle children having very different political beliefs than they have without "rolling over in their grave". I would hope Ethel would love and be proud of her son even if she did not agree with his views. My goodness, RFK Jr is not an axe murderer. He just has different opinions on the issues of the day. There is nothing wrong with that, it is a free country.

He just has different opinions that he spreads around widely thanks to the reach of his platform based on his name and those different opinions are chock-full of misinformation that is actually harmful to children and other living things so yeah what's the big deal it's just AN OPINION MAAAAAAAN

And we are all adults and can determine by ourselves if his opinions are "chock full of misinformation". Last time I checked, RFK Jr has no power to do anything that can hurt anybody. He is not going to win the nomination and will basically disappear sometime next spring.

Dude. It's on record that he tells African American mothers not to vaccinate their kids against anything. Altho, kudos on YOUR rugged individualism. Imagine a rich old white guy named Kennedy - yes, those Kennedys - having "no power to hurt anybody."

I feel this sorry episode illustrates nicely the dangers of ego. Not only giving your child your last name, but also your first. RFK Jr. can now milk the legacy of his father and use it to harm others. Not cool.

Dude. African American mothers are adults and have a mind of their own. You think just because some rich old white dude with famous last name tells them something they are going to blindly do it. OMG!!! Please tell me what power RFK Jr has over anybody. Does he hold political office and can affect legislation, the answer is no. The Kennedy mystique might mean something to people over 60 who actually remember his father but doubt it has any impact  with young people.

My brother has the same first and middle name of his grandfather and father and actually is quite proud of it. Once again, how is RFK going to hurt others. If he tells people not to get vaccinated, you really think they are going to blindly follow what he says and have no mind of their own to make a decision. I get a kick out of people like you who think famous people really have influence over people's personal medical decisions. I am willing to bet if I did one of those "man/woman interviews" on the street in cities and asked people who RFK Jr is most of the people would be clueless.

He's running for president, an office that would give him the opportunity to hurt others by steering executive branch policy according to his ridiculous conspiracy theories.

Candidates can also influence each other, some borrowing others policies if they think it'll get them a few votes. Or joining in the paranoia just for some traction. Hopefully that won't be the case here. The ignorance and fearmongering that RFK Jr. spreads is itself a virus, easily transmissable.

On reflection, I'm sorry I mentioned him.

Are you kidding me? He has as much chance of becoming POTUS as a Republican has winning California in 2024 election - ha ha.
