I am not overly familiar with some of the contestants. But I am thrilled that Jason Mraz (a San Diegan by choice) is among the dancers. Have seen him perform in person several times and have never been disappointed. His veganism and support for our LGBTQ+ communities make it easy for me to be a fan.
Oh, right... I totally forgot about JoJo. I missed that season. That was a good thing to do. Still, what's not good is to drop it suddenly. When do the two men get their turn? It should be every season, not just a one-off.
I don't know what the Rockettes have got to do with anything.

It is a joke and you obviously missed it. The Rockettes are all female dance group. Do myself or anybody else care, the answer is no. We don't demand a male dancer be allowed in their group - ha ha. Unfortunately, it seems you can't just enjoy a show without making a political issue. You do understand in the dance world male and female dancers have different types of abilities that allows more options and entertainment in a particular dance when they are partners. I really don't care if there would be two same sex dance partners on the show but people like yourself, I find tiresome always looking to complain about something.
There have been over 30 seasons. I don't think one man-on-man couple is too much to ask. Yes, I understand that one partner leads and the other partner follows, but that is no way reliant on gender.
I'm sorry me looking for social inclusion bothers you.

Also, Zeppie - it's not me making a "political" issue of it. It's the producers, by not being inclusive. Pandering to narrow-minded conservatives, terrified they will lose Middle America viewers. I think we all know this is true. I'm sick of it.

What bothers me is that you can't just enjoy entertainment without worrying about the type of people entertaining you. If they did have one man on man couple, then you would complain there has not been transgender person on the show. Only matter of time before you would be posting about having a woman couple on. On the other hand, if I watched that show I would care about the quality of the dance performances and not give a darn about the sex of the couples.

Got to love it. Now conservatives are at fault about a dance show -lmao!!

Shangela was great, but I'm not sure if it was perceived as man-on-man. A she/her dancing with a he/him. A persona rather than a person. I know drag has evolved, but the actual man was not the contestant. Even if he was, representation should not be temporary. One season and then buh-bye.
