1984 5:00 Friday performance at TKTS

Hi all; does anyone happen to know at what time tickets for the 5:00 Friday performance of "1984" become available at the TKTS booth? There's a notice on their site stating that if a show has a Friday matinee performance the window will open at 10:00 AM that day, but given the unusual starting time of this performance I was wondering if they didn't go on sale until 3:00 PM when the booth opens for the other evening performances that dayMerc. Can't answer your question specifically, but can suggest an alternative - try the lottery, and if you don't win you'll likely receive the lotto loser offer. This is how I went the other day, seat was in the dress circle. I believe the winners are drawn at noon or 1, so you've got plenty of notice.

Try the lottery thing, usually it works. I was set with my friend to go yesterday at 5:00 and we both entered the lottery and lost, and even the lottery loser seats were all taken (I went on as soon as I got the email). Ended up biting the bullet and got $69 dress circle seats which ended up being second row on the aisle. Very good seat, but the show was horrible. I would avoid it at all costs. There was no energy or life into the story until the torture happened, and the torture scenes also sucked just cheap roller coaster style thrills and scares with stage blood. Bad experience I was embarrassed for the actors and was so disappointed. Sorry to make my answer to your question a review, but I guess I'm trying to suggest you to spend as little to see this show as possible. It wasn't worth comps to me.

Last time I was there I saw both the 5pm and 9pm performances listed at the same time
