Was just searching around YouTube for the latest show videos, and for CFA there is a notice that CFA will be live streamed today at noon (Pacific time which matches today's 3PM matinee.) There is no other info and I don't find anything on CFA's Facebook page, website, or by a Google search. Anyone know anything about this? Is it legit? Or am I blowing some bootlegger's cover?
Seems like an unofficial thing done by a bootlegger. I imagine we would see some press if this were actually happening. I'm curious to see how this turns out.
Just tuned to that and realized there are several "streams" at the same time with the same placeholder for different shows... so, it's just somewhere between sketchy and weird.
I just did a search on YouTube and came up with nothing, perhaps it was a boot and the producers got it deleted

Search "come from away" on YouTube, sort by "most recent" and it's the first thing to come up.
(But if you look at the related videos, there's supposedly one for Hamilton and one for Wicked, listed by the same user, happening supposedly at the same time)
Did it stream? I found the video, but there was nothing.
PS. Search -==LIVE Theatre 28 May 2017 Sunday==- and you will find other shows, like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which starts at 6:30, or Hamilton at 7:30.
UPDATE: Charlie was supposed to start at 6:30 and it's not starting.
Which begs the question, who has the time and motivation to create these things? What's the goal? Yeah, I can see if there was a spam element or some opportunity for economic gain or to obtain private info. But to just put these up? Are they somehow automated, given they were done for other shows? I'm puzzled as to the point.
