Hello all! I was wondering if there is a separate thread for playbill trading? I have a small list to offer & will basically trade for anything that I do not have. I currently have 136 in my collection & want to boost it up to over 200 by the end of the year through fan mail, ebay & trades. So, any consideration will be greatly appreciated.
You can email me at the address below with your list or with your trade options (I'll do this, for that kinda thing).
Thanks!

Oh certainly! But I'll only see a couple of on tour shows & some regional/local productions later on in the year. So that won't produce many new ones for my collection. And I know I won't be getting up to NYC anytime soon. Resources & opportunities are limited at the moment.
I am excited to see Wicked for the first time in Nashville next March/April!
If you send each theatre a pre-paid self-addressed shipping envelope and a note for a Playbill, they will gladly send you one.
Just make sure shipping envelope is the proper size to fit a Playbill and that you have proper postage on the pre-paid self-addressed shipping envelope. Just go to the post office with a couple of Playbills inside the shipping envelope so they can determine how much postage is required. Obviously you don't ship those Playbills. You fold the empty self-addressed pre-paid shipping envelope inside another shipping envelope and send away. You can do this to EVERY show on Broadway and you'll have a Playbill from every show. If you factor how much you're spending to get a Playbill it's still cheaper than buying one from eBay (they add shipping on top of the price).
Thanks for the suggestion. I normally send a request for a cast signed playbill to the stage manager. That's how I've amassed the majority of my autographed playbills. But that method is hit or miss. I never thought about just writing to the theatre itself & requesting one from whatever show is playing. Even though "whatever show is playing" sounds shallow & uninterested, I genuinely would want one from every show that is currently running. My only option for seeing live productions is the theater in Knoxville, TN & that's only a few times a year. So, through the mail & ebay is my best bet for my collecting habit.
