You all were so helpful and awesome for my first trip that I wanted to ask you what anyone thought of the balcony seats at the Hudson? I know Sunday just started there but I'm looking at snagging some cheap 1984 tickets and wanted to know what everyone thought.
It's a tiny theater, I didn't miss anything from the balcony.

I'll be a bit of a voice of dissent. I saw Sunday at the Hudson, and I agree that for a musical like that there are no bad seats in the house. However, I've also seen this production of 1984, and I think that if you really want to see the show, and get the full experience, it's probably worth it to pay more and sit closer. There's a lot of nuance and detail, and the facial expressions matter. I won't give details away, but in my opinion, if this is a show that's important to you, sit as close as you can possibly get.
I bought balcony seats for both Sunday and 1984, based on the good reports from board members. Of course I would prefer to be closer, but sitting in the balcony is better than not being in the theater at all.
