When are you planning on visiting NYC? If you will be in the Big Apple between now and the end of April, then by all means go see "Chicago". Charlotte D'Amboise is a master of the Fosse style. She knows Roxie inside and out.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
I live in new york and see around 2-3 shows a month. So it certainly isnt a timing thing. At the time being, I guess I'm just in the mood for a classic. The reason i am torn between these two specifically is because I have heard so many fantastic things about each and would like to know some more outside opinions. I'm appreciating all of this 10x more than you guys can imagine

There are a lot of really good reasons why it has been running so long."
I second that!"
Third! I've lost count of how many times I've seen this show and I still see it every chance I get (except for the current US Tour, which is not the same show).
