Curious if this will show up on TDF at all or if it will be easy to get day of tickets. Does anybody know if they will have a rush policy?

Without looking up individual performances or knowing someone in the box office or producing team, there isn't a easy way to find out.

It seems to be selling fairly well.....from the few dates I looked at:  LOTS of the orchestra gone, decent amounts of the front mezz...but definite availability for the rear mezz.   I'm doubtbul of TDF appearances (or at least with no consistency) but for at least a while, I don't see this being of the same ilk as Hamilton or BOM.

Rush/lottery is often not announced until previews begin....or close to that date.  Some are even several performances in before that happens.

I sucked it up and bought front mezzanine tickets recently when I was passing by the theatre.  In my conversation with the box office employee, he told me that tickets have been selling really well for the show.

It's a big theater. I wouldn't discount TDF tickets to start popping up during previews. But once word of mouth spreads, I think it will be a hot ticket for awhile.

It could really be buzzing by the holidays....I sure hope so!

I looked for Feb next year and onstage seating was widely available

^What about the rest of the house?   I think they have the onstage seats WAAAY too expensive.   I wouldn't spend the money.  (I have onstage for Feb because of the ART discount.)

I'm waiting for some kind of discount on stage seats

Golly I hope that the onstage seats are somehow discounted, either through rush or some other way. Just looking at the seating configuration makes me feel like I need to be up there.

When we bought our tickets the performance date was just as important as the seat locations. There are seats...everywhere and due to the nature of the show and the staging, they are all pretty good seats. Even in the balcony I think you'd be able to take in the "spectacle". (I don't know if any performers get upstairs, but they seem to be everywhere.

This is where my total total beef comes in and I think it is serious in regard to the future of live theater and Broadway. People might hate me for this but when I say "all pretty good seats are available" I must add "as long as you have the cash!" And this is all due to Hamilton's maniacal demand for tickets, scalpers, good word-of-mouth...everyone knew the big hit was coming to Broadway and the free market system ruled.

The first time this happened to my knowledge was when The Producers started charging $100 or more for seats. Slowly but thoroughly, prices crept up and up and up. Then Book of Mormon came along and they took a chance and it worked. Prices started to rise to $150-$200-$250, and then we throw in their premium seating.

It is now the norm. How can young people, families with one or two children, people on fixed incomes, afford to buy tickets? Even an average theater goer will now spend thousands of dollars annually if they see all the shows they might have an interest in.

The idiotic clamoring for tickets for Hamilton is insane. No one revolted. No one boycotted the theater. Instead we stood/stand in line and we're still doing it today. And I'm not denying the actors their due, but Hamilton now has profit sharing as an incentive. So now we pay and pay and pay, even for just a play. The Glass Menagerie tickets are close to $400. Live Theater will be doomed as it is today, you will go to your local movie theater and see things on PPV. They will still charge $25-$50 but you will seeing it live (hopefully) That's enough ranting I guess, good luck in getting your seats. How is Great Comet Selling?

I should have added that all other sections looked really well sold, sadly the seat I wanted was over 250 ( don't quote me )
