I know that Holiday Inn is deep in previews, but I thought it would be nice to see what everyone thinks will be the dark horse musical of the fall part of the season. Personally, I think it will be "A Bronx Tale".

...isn't a 'dark horse' the exact opposite of what you're describing here? I was always under the impression that the dark horse is a low-expectation property that becomes an unexpected front runner and crowd favorite, when talking Broadway. Not an already preferred favorite.
I saw Bronx Tale at Papermill, and every time I see anything about it, I have to remind myself that I saw it. This is certainly not the worst show ever, but there is absolutely nothing memorable to it. Even with a talented creative team, there was just nothing to this. Unless some major changes were made, I expect this to be forgotten by the time the Tonys come around.
