Who would you cast as Eva and Che? I would love for Michelle Pentecost to be the lead this time and I'm not sure about Che (perfect casting would be Ramin Karimloo but that's not going to happen!).
Not sure, but I hope the score is all sung live and as written, unlike the recent tours. In recent years, both Buenos Aires and Rainbow High have been lip-synced at all performances, and the first two sections that Eva sings in A New Argentina are badly transposed down a whole octave (I think) to mimic the way Madonna sang it in the film version (albeit on a slightly higher key overall). I know Evita is a difficult score to sing, but that really is the great thrill of it. It should be all live and as written IMO - and if necessary, cast two Evas that can alternate the role.
