I'm making my first major NY trip in mid-December, and I'm set to see The Present, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Front Page, and The Humans. I'm also keeping a slot open in the hopes that The Cherry Orchard extends and/or The Master Builder announces. I'm due to see The Encounter already when it comes to LA next year.
I'm wondering whether to book Heisenberg as well, but I don't know much about the play. I do like Mary-Louise Parker. If I have an extra day, I may also rush The Color Purple or Natasha, Pierre, but generally speaking I'm not the biggest fan of musicals (though there are some I love).
I'm wondering about opinions on those three shows, and whether there's anything Off-Broadway at this time that I should consider.
Not on sale yet but, Othello, with Daniel Craig and David Oyelowo, at NYTW is a must-see on my Off Broadway list. Depending on your arrival date, it may still be running at the time.
If I had to choose one of the two musicals to rush: Natasha, Pierre...
