Is Big River Underrated??

I just saw it and I absolutely adore it. The songs are spectacular. The book is at times hilarious and at other times poignant. I'm wondering, does anyone else feel the same way?

I love it, but I've only seen the Deaf West production, and I suspect I wouldn't have loved it as much as I did if it'd been a "traditional" production.

It was the first professional stage musical I ever saw (regional production), so I have a soft spot for it. I don't remember much about it, but I remember enjoying it.
