Your more thought-provoking snippets are reproduced below.  It's interesting how your position on the need for a more diverse Oscar voting membership has evolved.  You've got stamina that's for sure.  Enjoy!

...................................................................................................................

“We all know that being gay, age, or any other personal aspect deserves a nomination in itself.”

“If the nominations are based purely on talent and performance any outcome is possible. No, it won't always be as diverse as you like or include all your favorite races but thank god the Oscars were not based on that, at least until now.”

“You know what is fallacious? Pretending to be (or actually being) upset that your favorite race is not nominated this year.”

“…I were an Oscar judge, I would refuse any command to nominate on race.  And if I were a black person, I would seriously doubt the sincerity of my nomination next year.”

“naïveté: forcing to nominate black people, the epitome of racism, is the solution.”

“So it's ok if all nominees happen to be white if they happen to be the best that season?  Good. Then what's the fuss about?”

“Last time I checked there were plenty of female oscar winners under 63. That happens if they give the best performance and the voting body is professional.”

“The only thing that counts is 100% objectiveness. I seriously doubt that hundreds of years of slavery based on skin color works out well for that objectiveness if you put people in the Academy who have a big problem with that.”

“If I were a black actor, I would send a thank you note to the academy, for NOT looking at race, but purely at performances. That is why it is PERFECTLY possible for a certain race to not be nominated in whatever season.”

“You really think the Academy would deliberately ignore an oscar winning performance completely because someone is black? If anything, they feel pressure too, because if you ask me (random example) Jennifer Hudson is not an outstanding actress at all and yet, she won. You really think this kind of pressure is right?”

“Why is any situation that does not happen to have a black person in it per definition racism?”

“I know ALL about racism and I know exactly what keeps it going.”

“And Namo, I am actually defensive about black people. I don't want them to be seen as insecure, subordinate people who totally lack any form of being reasonable or objective about any situation that does not include a black person. Some things in life actually have other reasons behind it than race.”

My point there was that anyone can play anything. That it was NOT racist towards the Meditteranean race (sub race of white) if a black person plays Piangi. Just like it is by no means racist if 4 Oscar nominees in a category happen to be not black.”

“Because I have seen all the films and performances and I completely agree that the best performances were nominated. Any other outcome than this would have been unfair.”

“Even if "diverse people" in the commitee will only pick what resembles them, it is still not the solution, but the opposite.”

“If the new people are just as bad, maybe even worse (bigger complex) then there is nothing to be proud of if you win anything. So, fighting for diversity is not the solution, fighting for complex-free people is.”

“I am so very glad the Oscars did not listen to this pathetic pressure this year, because they might pull a "Jennifer Hudson debacle" again, a very mediocre/bad actress winning an Oscar because of peer pressure.”

“Diverse members in the Oscars voting process is racial bias and will stay racial bias.”

“Go complain to minority people that they should make more babies to take over the world, go write letters to scriptwriters, producers and movie studio's that you like to see more of your minority in films, go protesting on the street, do whatever you feel you need to do, but don't try pulling on something after it's done please.”

“Like I said, nothing wrong with a diverse voting body, but that is by no means the solution here, and by no means is there any reason to attack the Oscar system if your favourite minority is not always in it.”

NO, poor girl. You [Viola Davis] can not play any character in Chechov, Shakespeare, Miller, and any other title, because you are NOT male, you are NOT 20, you are NOT 70, you are NOT white, you are NOT every height, you are NOT every type, and all those things matter in casting and story lines.  Delusional lady.”

“It is the same thing as wanting a very short Danny Zuko in Grease. There will be plenty of groups that fight for the acceptance of short people and protesting that they need more diversity in that role, because it is considered as an opportunity to play, and usually one to look up to, as he is supposed to be popular and attractive. But the thing is, that casting directors don't have to explain anything to anyone, they can just cast what they think the biggest part of the world finds attractive.”

“The thing is, is you feel that the general world has certain views or preferences in taste, that happen to be not everything that you [javero] are, that is nothing you need to change by protesting, but by accepting.”

“Perserverance against all odds. That achieves diversity. Diversity is a result. Not a cause. Especially not in casting.”

“Kad, this is not about slavery etc. This is about external charcteristics and taste.”

“About the language, no problem! I speak 4 languages and have lived in 4 different countries. I try not to make any grammar mistakes but please feel free to tell me whenever I do.”

“In this case, working hard against the odds, as many people do, instead of playing the victim, demanding opportunities. You can't change peoples vision of beauty or preferences for any physical aspect for any role just like that.”

“And yes, minorities might feel they have to work harder sometimes. Convincing casting directors to change their vision of a role. Which can happen with countless aspects. Like I said, a tall Danny is considered more attractive, so the short guys have more to proof, that's life. Protesting that people should embrace short people more too is kind of naive. Is it fair? No. But there is nothing fair or unfair about personal preferences or visions of beauty, attractiveness or any other quality of any role out there.”

“… true talent speaks for itself and rises above that. That's why Whitney Houston became a treasure. Not because "we needed a black singer because it would do the diversity good".”

“Random example: I have read 2000 comments about Grease live on the internet. Only 1 person asked why they made the character of Marty black. That is 1 in 2000.  Almost half of every comments about Danny, were stating that he was too old for the role. Just to show you what people actually care about.”

“I know, this problem is mainly coming from black people. They demand exclusive rules for themselves.”

“And then I won't even start about the pathetic black reel awards. No other race has ever attempted something as silly as that.”

“Every person with sense knows that pulling the race card in the Oscars is racist.”

“Why don't you [FindingNamo] make a rap about "black privillege"? Because no other race has mandatory black awards and mandatory right on a certain percentage of roles and awards.”

What other race has awards based EXCLUSIVELY on their race?

“You [Kad] are the problem, unless you support elimination of all things that separate, such as black reel awards and bringing slave history into every possible situation. So, what will it be?”

“If we would stop comparing every black person in today's society to a slave, we would make huge steps in achieving equality.”

“Fun fact: There were more white slaves than there ever were black slaves.”

“Fun fact 2: In 2016, gay people are still sentenced to DEATH in many countries.”

“I just hope the black actor sees himself as a whole person too. That the word "race" is not something he should use in the speech when accepting his award for the role. That he understands that every other aspect of him earned him the role and the award.”

“And yes [javero], those list of organizations is sad. There are plenty of Latina contestants in the regular Miss USA. So you either go for it and take the challenge, or you feel too insecure to participate in the real world and create your own little separate world. And when you win because of the specially created awards for you, please don't pull race in it and don't be proud, because winning isn't cool if all other races are per definition excluded from participation.”

“So, it looks like the black reel awards are then completely unnecessary. In fact, I say they are quite racist anyway, but especially when there is a diverse voting body in the mainstream awards.”

“So for the last time: Will you [FindingNamo] be protesting against black reel awards once the Oscar voting body is diverse? Or comes your double agenda peeking around the corner and you still want separate awards?”

“Even when each and every mainstream voting body is diverse, you say it is ok that one race is allowed to create awards just for one race and another is not. THAT is a double agenda. That is racism.”

“Black film – celebration

White film - racism

Seats only for black - celebration

Seats only for white - racism

Separate awards for black - celebration

Separate awards for white - racism

Event with no white welcome - celebration

Event with no black welcome – racism”

Namo, what are your views about who is welcome in the voting body for the Black reel awards and who is welcome to be nominated?

I am talking about black reel awards. I don't know about BET awards but they seem completely unnecessary, especially if they nominate majorities or minorities.”

“Be glad that the representation of black people like yourself is absolutely overwhelming in everything and exceeds every thinkable percentage.”

“I am telling you that almost every project has black people in it and that the percentages are actually very high.”

“Projects with no black people are rarer than projects with no white people nowadays. So stop about inclusion please. And prizes are an entirely different story. If the percentage of black people in films is turned up to 30%, while the population is only 12%, it is still no guarantee to be awarded whatsoever.”

“If the voting body of the Oscars is completely diverse, then there is no longer need to play the victim role to justify "colored awards".”

“Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about that, but it is quite remarkable that there is no other race on earth with such a high percentage of working actors compared to the percentage of the population. Now that is a privillege.”

“If you don't want segregation, we have to get rid of black reel awards and other discriminating organizations and yes, we need a diverse voting body in the Oscars to even things out. If you like segregation, you can keep all races separated in awards based on race, even if the Oscar voting body will become diverse, convince yourself and the world that black people will stay less fortunate poor victims that need it, and enjoy the double standard.”

“I feel like I'm repeating myself, but nobody denies that a diverse voting body is a good thing.”

“javero said: So, the question begs, should there be a separate award category for female directors at the BAFTA's?

Absolutely not. Of course not. The voting body should become more diverse. Not the amount of categories of awards.”

“If you think this only works 1 way you are wrong. First of all because you enlarge the race gap and don't gain respect from other races if you exclude races on purpose. Secondly, you present certain races as "incapable of mainstream", less worthy. And in this case, that is a CAUSE of maintained separation. No minority will ever be fully accepted in the mainstream world if the minority in itself does not fully engage in a positive way.”
