This seems cool!

Not sure if Mayer's flamboyant directing is the right choice for a Chekhov but the cast seems very nice. I saw Annette Bening in King Lear with John Lithgow and she was amazing. Never seen Corey Stoll on stage but he's been attached to many classic adaptations.

My only concern is Treplyov, a difficult character to be played (annoying). I've never heard of the actor who is gonna play him.

What do you guys think?

Something I forgot to mention is that the screenplay is being adapted by The Human's Stephen Karam.

Not even sure how to respond to that. Michael Mayer is a very versatile director. The movie will be great and I can't wait for it.
