Oliver is set in 1837. The show kind of represents what London was like at that time. With so many tourists coming to London to find about the history of the city, bus tours and walk-around tours can sometimes get a bit boring, so the theatre should be another option for tourists. There is always something playing at the globe theatre to do with the very British Shakespeare, so why not have a good ol' British musical giving people a look into London in the19th century? If I was a tourist wanting to find out about London's history, and saw that there was a musical about a part of it, I would be intrigued to go see it!

Not only that, but the music is incredible! As a musical theatre performer myself, and someone who has done an amateur performance of this show, it is so much fun to do, and I knew people who were in the London production cast, and they said if they could do the show for a few years, they would!

What do you guys think? Should we bring back this incredible show, or are historical shows going down?

The last revival closed four years ago after a very succesful two years long run, I don't think we'll see it again in London any time soon
