They make a trade with the Twins & one player leaving the Mets is Wilmer Flores

Instead of taking him out, he is forced to play the rest of a meaningless game in the field knowing this is the last game he will play with the team he has been with his entire minor & major league career. Any other team either tells him before & lets him get his affairs in order or removes him from the game when they find out. They leave the guy out there like a piece of dead meat with his emotions all over his face for the world to see.

Hey Wilmer, you are going to an organization that wants you. You are leaving a low class outfit that has no clue what they are doing and how to treat a player. Terry Collins did not have a clue with you. Once you started hitting he yanks you & puts you on the bench. Typical Collins.

I hope the hell you rip the cover off the ball in Minny & show the Mets what a mistake they made.

The Mets backed out because of an alledged hip issue with Gomez. Duda gets 3 meaningless home runs in a loss. After their big offensive output a few games ago, they are back to normal. A number of charter members of my fan club chimed in & I can only imagine the names & crap thrown at me. This is why I changed the thread name & put this caveat at the end. They still will not make the playoffs . If by some miracle they do, they will be done in buy lack of offense & a bullpen totally shot from overuse by Collins. When you bring in an already overworked closer to finish off a game where you are 13 runs ahead, it shows Collins should not be allowed anywhere near a bullpen that he can ruin.

The Mets may do something never done  ( I believe)in the history of baseball. Their starting pitchers will not have a complete game the entire season.

Familia's arm will be blown out from being used every day. He blew his 3rd save in a row today 7/30. Collins burned thru 4  relief pitchers in 3 innings - par for the course. He uses relief pitchers like Kleenex while he outright babies his starting pitchers to the point of absurdity. Well at least the Yankees should make the playoffs.
