^ Well, that's pretty obvious. But in all seriousness, Doctor Zhivago will probably win.

I agree they should go ahead and reward Hamilton now since obviously Rebecca will take everything next year.

Best Musical is a toss-up between An American in Paris and Fun Home; I give the edge to American. Director of a Musical could very well go to American, Fun Home or King and I.

Best Play and Direction is a lock for Curious Incident.

Revival of a Musical goes to The King and I and Revival of a Play will be Skylight; barring a You Can't Take It With You upset.

The only clear acting winner is Helen Mirren. The others have several options, but I'd give the edge to Sharp in actor.

Score - Fun Home. Book - Fun Home but I think it could be Something Rotten.

Scenic (Musical), Lighting (Musical), Choreography, Orchestrations - An American in Paris. Costume (Musical) - The King and I.

Scenic (Play) and Lighting (Play) - Curious Incident. Costume (Play) - Wolf Hall.

For the first time in recent memory I honestly don't care this year. I don't even think I am watching. I cannot stand Cheno.

This one's easy. Fun Home.  It's the Best Musical this season.  It will win most of the awards!

FUNHOME will take a ****eload of 'em. Show, Score, Book. Featured Actress, Actor, Direction and a few others.

AMERICAN IN PARIS won't go home empty, Choreoraphy, and possibly an upset for cutie Maxie VonEssen over hunky Andy Karl.

The show that might go home empty handed could be SOMETHING ROTTEN.

I also think there could be surprises, it's an uneven year.

And I am totally TEAM CHITA, and not as a sympathy win. She deserves it.

And I want to party with 2 winners: Alex and Helen.

i loved this years shows.

For the second year in a row, i think all four nominees are really a "best musical" level of show...before that i think you have to go back to 2005 (Spamalot, light in the piazza, dirty rotten scoundrels, 25th annual putnam spelling bee) where all four nominees were at this level.(tony always tosses 1 or two turkeys into the nominations)

Fun Home was a an extraordinary theatre experience, and my vote for best musical, score, lead actor, supporting actress(youngest version), director, best book and maybe one more

On the 20th Century for best revival and best actress

American in Paris for choreography, supporting actor(the narrator)

King and I for costumes and set and i wish a tie for best actress

Something Rotten may sneak away supporting actor for nostredamus

but will go home light on awards (it was a really really fun show)

Loved On the Town too, but dont think it will get the love from Tony

As Kristen said in Wicked  "I couldn't be happier..."

I hope there are a lot of surprises this year...otherwise it's going to be a bore. The nominations leave a lot to be desired in my point of view.

It's gonna be stupid if Fun Home wins book and score but loses to American in Paris for best musical. Book + score = musical. But then again Into the Woods and Ragtime both got cheated out of the best musical title. Those are two of the greatest musicals of all time and I don't think Fun Home is far behind them.

I just learned today that Robert and Megan Fairchild are brother and sister (I know, probably late to the party).

Could they be our new Fred and Adele Astaire?

"It's gonna be stupid if Fun Home wins book and score but loses to American in Paris for best musical."

Sorry to disagree-- not stupid if AN AMERICAN IN PARIS also reaps Best Director and Best Choreographer. Libretto and Score are essential to many great musicals, but sometimes in a dance-heavy show, movement speaks louder than words can. And no-one's saying the score to An American in Paris isn't Tony-worthy, simply that it's not eligible. There are many arts that go into the making of a great musical. Don't be closed-minded about the ways choreography can make a show the very best one in a crowded and rich Broadway season. (That would be so un-Fun Home of you.)
