I knew things were bad in the 60s, but I had no idea. BTW, the answer to any of these "Who here is old enough to remember..." threads is of course, beloved BWW Sondheim historian Before100.
Yes, I'm old enough to remember, and, yes, I recognize John Amos. Actually the entire cast is composed of successful character actors from the years to follow.
Was that from when Barry Manilow was arranging McDonald's commercials as his day job?
And the manager, with the great voice, is John Wheeler. He played Herman in the original "Sweet Charity" who sang "I Love to Cry at Weddings", and Mr. Fields in "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" film, singing "She's Leaving Home". Every one of those actors were all over 70's television.

"Hilarious! Do not recall that one! I can still repeat the "two all beef patties, special sauce ..." commercial "
I remember both! Used to sing along with both, too!
I worked at McDonalds in the early - mid-80's and our grill looked just like that "burger machine"! (Not nearly as clean, though!) I missed the paper hats by literally 3 weeks. When I got there, it was fun visors!

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
