Mulan! I think this is a excellent choice. One obvious reason is that the story has plenty of action and adventure and ancient China looks majestic on screen. I hope they get Ming-Na Wen to play Mulan's mother.

ETA: Now we have Winnie the Pooh in the works.

I wonder if they call the kind of animation The Smurfs used live action.

Or are they going true live action ala Babe.

If they make 'Winnie the Pooh' like 'Paddington', then I am up for seeing it.

If they're as well made as Cinderella, I'm all for it.  But Mulan?  WINNIE THE POOH? I guess we'll see...
