That is odd. I can't wait to see it (at the ART) this summer, but that's sort of ballsy, no?
(And I don't remember any official announcement, although its oft mentioned as Broadway Bound.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Posted: 3/3/15 at 1:13amI mean I'm Broadway was always the goal. I was in an audition class with a girl who sang a song from it. It def sounds VERY Bareilles, but the song lyrically didn't do or say much. She kept repeating the same phrases over and over again, so unless staged smartly, I feel like it could just be super boring.

I saw that Facebook post last night and was very intrigued! I'm excited to hear that this is coming to Broadway and soon.
Sara Bareilles also performed a song from the show at the gala - they teased with a photo and I hope they release a video.

Now that Jessie Mueller has been officially confirmed to do this at ART in August ... and it seems a Broadway transfer is confirmed, does anyone have any thoughts on when we'll get additional casting news? I'm not that familiar with the usual timing.
Some people involved in the workshop were Bryce Pinkham (another thread says he's out), Barrett Wilbert Weed, Amber Iman, Keala Settle ... Also Christopher Fitzgerald who seems unlikely since he's doing An Act of God and Andy Karl, still with On the 20th Century (he would be great as the husband in Waitress!)
