I seriously hope she's okay. it was painful. she landed on her upper back. my god that was no joke.
she struggled with the cape. the lacing and the dancer pulled it off thinking it was untied.
woah. that was crazy.
seriously hope she's okay. it was a huge fall backwards.
she did continue the song. sang it live. and stuck through it.
lyrically it was pretty spot on.

I wish someone would post the whole performance to see how much of a trooper she really is and how she pulled it together for the rest of it and not just focus on the negativity.

Posted: 2/25/15 at 6:03pmI just watched it with the vocals. When she is falling backwards there is complete silence. No gasping, no noise, no "oh **** or fuk". I'm not buying she is singing live. But on release day, I will still be buying the cd.

Posted: 2/25/15 at 6:16pmMaybe then. The only other explanation is the soundman cut off her mike. Would his reaction be that fast? I doubt it. The same thing happened at the Orlando show with Beyoncé, when she fell down the stairs. I was at the show. If you fall, you are going to say something, make noises, etc. There was no sound until she recovered. And they said she was singing live also. Didn't buy that either.

because when you fall backwards.... you don't necessarily think- let me keep singing into a mic.
she was clearly singing live. you hear the thud of the mic hit the floor when she fell. there are 4 lines in the song that she didn't sing as she was pulling the cape off. she walked onto the podium and continues.
she sang with a backing track during the chorus that were low in the mix.
clearly her voice is the loudest in the mix.
let's focus on the fact that she is a consummate pro and finished the damn song as best as she possibly good after a very striking, harsh/hard fall 10 ft off a platform.
give her a freaking break.
amazing to think that lyrically- it went PERFECT with what was happening.

It was a nasty fall, you could see it coming, she was struggling to untie the cape (Velcro woman)and the dancer did not see it wasn't untied and he pulled it away causing her to fly backwards down the stairs.
To her credit though she got straight back up and did a great performance but you could tell she was shaken up. The crowd cheered when she got back up.
She was very clearly singing live, you could hear a faint vocal track underneath but the moment she started singing again it was very clear she was live. It took her a minute to get her breath back. She's a pro though, she got straight back up.
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna

When you fall backwards, if you are singing, your first reaction is not to decide whether or not to I should continue singing into the mic. If you are falling backwards holding a live mic, you would gasp, at the very least. I love Madonna...but Namo help me out here.
