Posted: 12/27/14 at 8:20pmI was curious if the West End LES MISERABLES is still using the original Nunn/Caird staging with the turntable. I seem to recall that the new production with the new staging by the new directors without the turntable was playing at the Barbican. Is this still the case? Is the London production the only current professional production that still uses the original staging ?

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.

The London production is still using the origina Nunn/Caird staging and I frankly hope this will go on forever and it will be never replaced with the new ugly 25th anniversary one... despite Cammack said that he'd like to put on the new staging in occasion of the 30th anniversary of the musical in october 2015

Hmm, 30th anniversary of the show in 2015? Time to put it on video and release it commercially ala BILLY ELLIOT LIVE!
Les Miserables Live from London (though it would be terrific to have Ramin Karimloo from Broadway preserved on video as he is fantastic, and I didn't find the new staging ugly, but the turntable staging is/was perfection.)
