Hi everyone!

I am visiting London in February and am interested in some recommendations for shows to see (I'm partial to musicals). I live in New York and go to the theater often, so I'm interested in seeing something that I can see in New York. Also, are all shows dark on Sunday?

No shows aren't dark on a Sunday and you could believe it or not actually see more shows in London in a week than New York.

Here hope this helps you:

There are quite a few shows opening in the next few weeks - how many will be running in Feburary? No one has that answer.

I think this is pretty accurate for the West End: but consider the "fringe" and "off west end", in particular the Union Theatre which has been doing lesser performed musicals and doing them exceedingly well in a literally little hole in the wall theatre- although they are moving across the street soon.

Not now in NY- But headed There: Miss Saigon

Non-NY musicals that should be still running in February: Charlie & Chocolate Factory.

Non-NY musicals that hope to still be running in February: Sunny Afteroon and Made in Dagenham

Musicals that are not now in NY: Scottsboro Boys, Urinetown, Memphis, City of Angels (through February 7), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

The Menier Chocolate Factory is staging Sondheim's Assassins which will be on in February.
