I pray that this new thread will disappear along with the disease, but I want to have a place where people can update the crisis.

To start, Sierra Leone is being shut off from the rest of the world for three days to assess and try to slow infection rates.

A member of Doctors Without Borders contracted the disease yesterday.

Survivors blood is suddenly turning up on the black market.

Cases in the hardest hit areas are doubling every two weeks.

The economies of many West African countries could be decimated.

While I don't want to be alarmist I thought this needed a place on the board.
