I am based in the UK, what is the best website to book tickets in advance for a show? I have been looking at Lady Day on tele charge.com, however i find it really frustrating it doesn't show all the seats available for you to pick properly.

That's really it unless you want to pay additional fees to a reseller.

is it worthwhile calling the box office instead?

You usually can't directly call a box office on Broadway.

You have to call Telecharge, buy from a broker, or a reseller. Those are pretty much your only options.

Telecharge will have the best availability and show you all of the seats they have to sell.

Why isn't Telecharge showing you all available seats? You should have the option of selecting your seat from the chart, similar to Ticketmaster.

London theater and New York theater ticket selling are set up very differently. There is only one official online/phone seller per show in New York, which is either Telecharge or Ticketmaster or Roundabout depending on who owns the theater. Any other online seller is almost certainly going to be significantly more expensive. None of the other sellers accept official discount codes.

I've had the same problem with Telecharge from the UK. I can only buy the seats offered to me rather than from what is available. I've tried different browsers and also using a proxy ISP but nothing helped. No idea why the seats won't show for us.

You can't call the box office, but you CAN call Telecharge and probably get more assistance with finding the best seats. Their number is +1 212-947-8844 and since I'm assuming it's not a 24 hour number, you should aim to call between 2.00pm and 10.00pm UK time.

Thanks for the advice. The telecharge website in the uk is not as good as Ticketmaster! I will call the phone number on the Lady Day official web page. I will let you know how I get on.
