I am a big fan of DWTS and I've loved their casts, regardless of their A/B/C listing... Chelsea Handler said on GMA today:
George Stephanopolous: When are you going to be on DWTS? Chelsea Handler: What? I have a job!
I wish they could get some more credible celebrities; not that these aren't because they've done great things in their careers, but they're not the first ones we think of when we hear the word "stars".
I've been taking a break from reality TV, but maybe I will tune into this just because I did grow up watching Candace Cameron Bure on 'Full House'. If she gets eliminated I might stop watching like I did last season. I on;y tuned in to watch Valerie Harper.
I don't even know who 1/2 these people are. And the ones I do, I sort of don't care about. I might check out what Meryl Davis and Charlie White do, but I feel like one of them might end up being a predictable winner.
They got rid of the live music aspect and got rid of Brooke Burke for Erin Andrews. Okay, Brooke being off is okay, but they could have replaced her with someone a little more interesting. I kind of don't care if they end up cancelling this show.

I had no idea they were getting rid of the live music. I thought they were just replacing Harold Wheeler. Wow, they just cut a large bit of salaries with that move.

What a boring lineup. The only thing that would get me to watch is if they replaced the judges. ALL OF THEM. Especially that obnoxious one who has to stand up and yell and audition. For the part of a-hole.
Sorry, I was partially wrong about the music. Yes, they did get rid of Harold Wheeler and the 27 piece band. But, they are replacing them with a smaller electric band to attract a younger audience. So the music will still be live. And they still got rid of a lot of people. And with this cast, I don't see how it is going to attract a younger audience. If I were still in my teens or early 20s, I would not tune into this show just to hear the band.
I've also been contemplating the firing of Brooke Burke. I know she wasn't exciting or great to begin with, but I wonder if the show fired her to hire Erin for a smaller salary. Little by little though, it does seem like they are significantly cutting down the costs. I know that doesn't always mean anything, but the show is not as popular as it once was.
And I guess either The Price Is Right is going to not be filming during this, or they are going to have to change at least the Monday filming schedule. The 2nd filming would interfere with this. I just find it funny that both shows tape in the same studio. I know, not important.

"Since when is that drag queen Nene Leakes a star?"
Not only is she a star, Carlos; she's RICH from cashing Donald Trump checks
I don't know who the hell her agent is but if I were in show business I'd beat a path to his or her door. That agent certainly knows how to polish a turd.
I almost forget that I watched Billy Dee Williams in 'Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi' many times.
"Ugh Candace Cameron. I hope she doesn't choke on her Chick-fil-A."
But can't we put aside our differences with Cameron Bure like we did we did with another child actress, who appeared on a different reality TV show. People here at Broadway World had nothing but nice things to say about her while she was on it.
Even after she wrote:
"Eating at Chick-fil-a in N. Carolina & Mandisa's "My Deliverer" came on over the speakers! Then Haven said she saw her on the AI tour. Cool."
The only reason I'm watching is for Meryl and Charlie- been a fan of their for years. Although it will be rather odd to see them with other partners. Otherwise, I agree, this is a pretty boring cast.
Drew Carey and Billy Dee Williams should be ashamed for putting themselves in a position to even be mentioned with these others. Drew Carey has more money than God and it's not like appearing here is going to give a big boost to the ratings for TPIR. And Billy Dee Williams? The very definition of cool during the 1970's and most of the 80's? Why Billy Dee, why?
I do like Danica McKellar though, and if it gives a boost to her career, that's OK with me.
I don't think Drew is doing this show to boost his game show's ratings. Maybe he just wants the challenge. I've seen his dancing on Whose Line and it ain't pretty.
