when I started to go to the theater in my teens and twenties a hit show might play a year a year and a half. so it was much easier to get to all the different theaters. now that some theaters have attractions that play for decades its much harder.

I still mourn the passing of the original Helen Hayes, the Ziegfeld, the Morasco, the Harkness and the 54th St.

I've yet to see a show in the Winter Garden or Music Box but hope to.
Never been in the Gershwin or Minskoff either, but not particularly upset about it.

Looking forward to seeing the restoration of the Richard Rodgers - the pictures look great.

@LizzieCurry, technically the "Ray of Light Theatre (SF)" is actually the Eureka Theatre. Ray of Light is just one of the companies that performs there.

** I have not seen Shows at the Winter Garden or the Lunt Fontanne, but I walked in both theatres, took a look around, and grabbed leftover Playbills and a cup as the shows were letting out.

US Broadway tours
ASU Gammage (Tempe, AZ)
Music Hall at Fair Park (Dallas, TX)
Civic Theatre (San Diego)

Also saw Phantom at the Venetian in Las Vegas
